At our West Madison, WI location, Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education provides individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental conditions. Our services focus on strengthening communication skills, social interaction, adaptive daily living skills, play development, and reducing behaviors that interfere with learning.

Depending on each child’s clinical needs, ABA therapy may be delivered in our clinic, in the home, or in daycare or school settings. Every treatment plan is designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and tailored to the child’s unique strengths and areas of growth. Our goal is to help children in the West Madison community build independence, confidence, and meaningful life skills.

Yes, we offer in-home ABA therapy services in West Madison when clinically appropriate. Following a comprehensive assessment, the BCBA determines whether home-based services will best support your child’s developmental goals.

In-home ABA therapy can be especially helpful for targeting daily routines, communication within the family, and behavior regulation in natural environments. We also offer clinic-based and community-based services to ensure children receive support in the settings where they learn and grow most effectively.

What sets Cultivate apart in West Madison is our commitment to individualized, compassionate, and assent-based care. We recognize that each child brings unique strengths, preferences, and challenges, and we design programming that reflects the whole child — not just a diagnosis.

We emphasize collaboration with families and take a team-based approach to therapy. Parents and caregivers are actively involved in goal setting, skill generalization, and long-term planning. By combining evidence-based ABA therapy with respectful, child-centered practices, we create programs that support both skill acquisition and emotional well-being.

The number of hours is determined after a comprehensive assessment conducted by a BCBA. Based on assessment results, your child may be recommended for either focused ABA therapy (approximately 10–20 hours per week) or comprehensive ABA therapy (20–40 hours per week).

Therapy frequency depends on factors such as age, developmental level, behavioral concerns, and school schedule. Our team works with families to create a consistent schedule that promotes steady progress while fitting into your routine.

Our West Madison ABA therapy team includes Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Behavior Technicians (BTs), and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

Most of our one-on-one therapists hold active RBT credentials through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Team members who are not yet credentialed complete a structured 40-hour training program, pass a BCBA-conducted competency assessment, and successfully complete a certification exam.

All case management and clinical decision-making are led by master’s-level BCBAs, including our Clinic Manager. BCBAs oversee treatment planning, data analysis, supervision, and ongoing adjustments to ensure effective, evidence-based care.

Yes. Parent and caregiver training is a core component of ABA therapy at our West Madison location. Caregiver meetings are scheduled regularly with the supervising BCBA to promote consistency and skill generalization across environments.

For new families, we often begin with more frequent meetings to provide robust initial training and support. These sessions allow caregivers to learn behavior management strategies, reinforcement techniques, and communication supports that can be implemented at home. Ongoing collaboration ensures therapy extends beyond the clinic and supports long-term success.

If your child has received an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis, ABA therapy is commonly recommended as an evidence-based intervention. ABA may also be appropriate if your child demonstrates challenges with communication, social interaction, adaptive skills, or behaviors that impact daily functioning.

If your pediatrician has expressed concerns or recommended an evaluation, our West Madison team can conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine whether ABA therapy would benefit your child’s specific needs.

ABA therapy sessions in West Madison are individualized and dynamic. Activities are guided by your child’s goals, age, interests, and motivation. Sessions may include structured teaching components as well as natural environment learning through play-based interactions.

Skills addressed may include communication, social engagement, adaptive living skills, emotional regulation, and behavior reduction strategies. During your initial meeting, we review what a typical session may look like based on your child’s individualized treatment plan so families know what to expect.

Progress in our West Madison ABA program is tracked daily using Ensora, a secure data collection platform. Behavior technicians collect real-time data on skill acquisition and behavior reduction targets during each session.

BCBAs regularly review and analyze this data during supervision to determine whether goals are being mastered, maintained, or require adjustment. This data-driven approach ensures therapy remains effective, responsive, and aligned with your child’s evolving needs.
