Khendal Robinson is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Manager at our Orange Park (Jacksonville) location. She has a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and Criminology from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. Khendal is dedicated to providing both effective and individualized treatment for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. She has over 5 years of experience building meaningful client relationships while providing significant outcomes for key stakeholders. She has had the pleasure of working with children varying in intensity of behavior and verbal repertoire.
Our ABA clinic provides a structured and nurturing environment for children to develop essential developmental and age-appropriate skills. Through a combination of play–based and adult–directed activities, children learn communication, daily living, pre-academic, and social readiness. Our experienced team facilitates these sessions, helping your child build independence and confidence in a setting that mirrors real-world scenarios. Clinic–based service models include regular parent and caregiver training to maximize learning opportunities outside of structured ABA Therapy sessions.
In-home ABA therapy services target socially significant skills within the home environment. This approach targets communication, daily routines, and addresses specific challenges like communication, activities of daily living, and behavior management within a familiar home environment. Our team works closely with families to create personalized interventions, so we enhance engagement and foster independence within the home setting. Home-based service models include regular parent and caregiver training to maximize learning opportunities outside of structured ABA Therapy sessions.
Our In-school ABA therapy services provide vital support within both public and private school settings. In addition to providing direct services to your child, our team works closely with teachers and school staff to develop strategies that help with skill development and promote positive peer interactions. By integrating ABA principles into the school day, we enhance students’ learning experiences and support their success. When appropriate, in-school service delivery models include regular parent and caregiver training to maximize learning opportunities outside of structured ABA Therapy sessions.
If you’ve noticed differences in how your child communicates, interacts, or plays, getting clarity early can make all the difference. At Cultivate, we help families take those first important steps by offering trusted autism screenings, such as the M-CHAT-R (for toddlers) and the CAST (for older children).
These screenings can provide valuable insight and help determine whether pursuing a formal diagnostic evaluation is the next step. Our team can help directly connect you to our diagnostic partners to ensure families have clear pathways to the support they need.
Getting an autism diagnosis for your child is so hard and they help you through things. There is always a teacher, caseworker or even a parent of another student to turn to when you need to talk.
They made all the plans for my daughter, found the time to sit down with me and go over everything plus answer all my questions. I would absolutely recommend Cultivate for anyone who has a child who is autistic.
We love it here! My son is making a lot of progress and everyone at the center is very nice and helpful.

Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education provides comprehensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy designed to help children build the skills they need to succeed in structured settings such as clinics, schools, and community environments. Our services include individualized one-on-one ABA therapy, caregiver training and guidance, and social or group-based programming that supports peer interaction and classroom readiness.
Treatment plans are developed and overseen by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and focus on communication, social skills, emotional regulation, daily living skills, and learning behaviors such as attention, task completion, and following routines. Services may be delivered in our clinic, in the home, or in school and community settings based on what best supports each child’s progress.
Yes. In addition to clinic-based ABA therapy, we offer in-home ABA therapy services when appropriate for the child and family. In-home therapy can be especially helpful when goals involve routines that occur at home or when children benefit from learning in familiar environments.
A BCBA will determine whether clinic-based services, in-home services, or a combination of both will best support your child. Therapy settings may change over time as skills develop and goals shift.
Cultivate’s ABA therapy is built on structure, consistency, and collaboration. We believe children learn best when expectations are clear, routines are predictable, and everyone supporting the child is working toward shared goals.
We are accredited by the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) and are active members of the Council of Autism Service Providers (CASP), reflecting our commitment to ethical and evidence-based care. Our team works closely with families, educators, and related service providers to support skill development across environments—especially in preparation for school and structured learning settings.
Our focus is not just on teaching skills, but on helping children apply those skills consistently and confidently in real-world settings.
The frequency of ABA therapy is individualized and determined following a comprehensive assessment by a BCBA. Recommendations are based on your child’s developmental needs, learning style, and treatment goals.
Many children receive between 10 and 40 hours of ABA therapy per week. Consistent attendance is important, particularly when working on structured skills such as classroom behaviors, transitions, and independence. Your BCBA will collaborate with you to create a schedule that supports progress while fitting your family’s routine.
Yes. Parent and caregiver training is an essential part of ABA therapy at Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education. We believe families play a critical role in a child’s progress, which is why we prioritize collaboration and ongoing communication throughout the therapy process.
Through caregiver training, parents learn practical strategies to support communication, behavior, and daily living skills at home and in the community. Caregivers also have opportunities to review progress, ask questions, and better understand how therapy goals are being addressed.
This collaborative approach helps ensure consistency across environments and supports skill generalization—so children can use what they learn with different people, in different settings, and over time. Our goal is to empower families with the tools and confidence to support their child’s growth well beyond therapy sessions.
ABA therapy is often recommended following an autism diagnosis, but families may also seek services when children struggle with communication, attention, emotional regulation, or behavior that interferes with learning.
If you have concerns about your child’s development or readiness for structured settings such as school, our team can complete an assessment and help determine whether ABA therapy may be beneficial. We work closely with families to explain recommendations and guide next steps.
ABA therapy sessions are structured, engaging, and goal-focused. Sessions often include play-based learning, structured teaching, and opportunities to practice skills such as following directions, transitioning between activities, and completing tasks.
As children progress, sessions may include table-based instruction and group or social activities to support classroom-ready behaviors and peer interaction. Every session is guided by an RBT under BCBA supervision to ensure therapy remains individualized and effective.
Progress is tracked through consistent data collection during every session. RBTs collect data on targeted goals, and BCBAs regularly review this information to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans.
This data-driven approach helps identify strengths, address challenges early, and ensure therapy remains aligned with each child’s goals.
Yes. We have bilingual team members available to support families who prefer services in another language. Clear communication is essential for effective therapy and collaboration.
If language support is important for your family, our intake team will work to match you with available bilingual providers whenever possible.
Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education does not provide formal autism diagnoses. However, we offer free developmental screening tools, including the M-CHAT-R and CAST, to help identify potential developmental concerns.
If further evaluation is recommended, we connect families with trusted diagnostician partners who provide virtual autism evaluations. Once a diagnosis is completed, our BCBAs can begin developing an individualized ABA therapy plan.
Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach to autism therapy focused on creating significant positive behavior change. By applying the principles of behavior, ABA can reduce inappropriate behaviors while bolstering appropriate behaviors in children with autism.
