(October 5, 2026) – Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education (Cultivate BHE), a provider of individualized ABA therapy for children with autism, recently celebrated its fifth annual Culture Week celebration, September 28 through October 2, 2026. The weeklong celebration brought together more than 1,300 Team Members across nearly 50 clinic locations nationwide, as well as in-home and remote teams, to recognize five years of celebrating the organization’s mission, vision, and core values and the people who bring them to life every day.
Five years ago, Cultivate took an intentional approach to redefining its organizational culture by inviting Team Members to help select the mission, vision, and core values that would guide the organization. Rather than establishing these guiding principles solely through executive leadership, Cultivate sought direct input from their team members. This collaborative process helped establish a foundation rooted in shared purpose, compassion, and a collective commitment to improving lives.
From that foundation, Culture Week was born as a way to celebrate and reinforce the mission, vision, and core values that guide Cultivate’s work every day. Five years later, it has grown into an annual nationwide celebration, bringing together Team Members across Cultivate’s expanding network of clinics, in-home services, and remote teams. Each year, Culture Week provides an opportunity to reconnect with the organization’s shared purpose, strengthen relationships, and reflect on how each Team Member contributes to the culture Cultivate continues to build together.
“Five years ago, we wanted our Team Members to have a voice in defining who we are and what we stand for as an organization,” said Brent Arnold, Chief Executive Officer of Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education. “Culture Week grew from that commitment. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with the mission, vision, and core values our people helped establish and reflect on how they guide the meaningful work we do every day. It’s also a reminder that each of us plays an important role in building and strengthening Cultivate’s culture.”
Today, Cultivate’s mission, “Collaborating to improve lives with engaging, individualized, and compassionate care,” and its vision, “Cultivate every individual’s highest potential,” continue to guide the organization’s approach to supporting individuals with autism and their families. These principles are reinforced by six core values: Dedicated Team Members, Family Focused, Integrity, Accountability & Ownership, Continuous Improvement, and Acceptance & Belonging.
Throughout the 2026 Culture Week celebration, team members participated in themed spirit days and activities designed to encourage connection and team engagement. This year’s themes, selected by Cultivate’s team of Culture Ambassadors, included Favorite Book Day, When I Grow Up Day, Animal Day, and Western Day. Culture Ambassadors also helped bring the celebrations to life by organizing fun activities and opportunities for Team Members to participate throughout the week. Across clinics and remote teams, Team Members embraced the festivities and connected with colleagues across the organization.
One of the most meaningful traditions of Culture Week is Culture Day, also known as Commitment Day, which took place on September 30, 2026. This annual ceremony provides Team Members with an opportunity to reflect on Cultivate’s mission, vision, and core values, recognize the important role these guiding principles play in their everyday work, and reaffirm their shared commitment to bringing them to life. Commitment Day serves as a reminder that every Team Member contributes to Cultivate’s culture through the way they support one another, collaborate with families, and provide compassionate, individualized care to the clients they serve.
In recognition of the fifth anniversary, this year’s Commitment Day featured a collaborative wooden block activity symbolizing the foundation Cultivate has built together. Team Members selected a core value meaningful to them and decorated individual wooden blocks to represent their personal connection to that value. The blocks were then combined into unique structures, creating lasting displays that represent the collective strength of Cultivate’s people.
Each block reflected an individual contribution, while the completed structures demonstrated how different strengths, perspectives, and experiences come together to create something greater. The displays will serve as ongoing reminders of the shared values that connect Team Members and the role each person plays in Cultivate’s continued growth.
While Culture Week is an opportunity to celebrate, its significance extends beyond the festivities. For an organization dedicated to providing individualized ABA therapy and autism services, a strong workplace culture helps reinforce collaboration, accountability, compassion, and a shared commitment to the individuals and families receiving care. Our goal is become the best ABA provider in the communities they serve.
Guided by its People, Patients, Performance model, Cultivate believes that investing in its Team Members creates a stronger foundation for delivering high-quality, individualized ABA therapy. By fostering an environment where Team Members feel supported, valued, and connected to a shared purpose, Cultivate empowers its people to provide compassionate, family-centered autism care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families they serve. This people-first approach reflects Cultivate’s commitment to becoming one of the best ABA therapy providers in the communities it serves.
“Every Team Member brings something unique to Cultivate, and together, those contributions shape the organization we are today,” added Arnold. “I’m incredibly proud of the foundation we’ve built over the past five years and excited about what we’ll continue to accomplish together. Our people have always been our greatest strength, and when we invest in and support them, we empower them to make an even greater difference in the lives of the clients and families we serve.”
As Cultivate continues to grow, its mission, vision, and core values remain central to the organization’s commitment to its Team Members, clients, and families. Five years after its inception, Culture Week continues to serve as a reminder that while the organization may evolve, the shared purpose and values that bring its people together remain at the heart of everything Cultivate does.
