Clinic-Based Services

Our ABA clinic provides a structured and nurturing environment for children to develop essential developmental and age-appropriate skills. Through a combination of play–based and adult–directed activities, children learn communication, daily living, pre-academic, and social readiness. Clinic–based service models include regular parent and caregiver training to maximize learning opportunities outside of structured ABA Therapy sessions.

Social group services focus on developing interpersonal skills through structured and safe peer interactions. In these sessions, children engage in activities that help to encourage cooperation, communication, and relationship-building. Team members guide structured activities to help children practice and refine their social abilities in a supportive and controlled environment. When appropriate, social skills service delivery models include regular parent and caregiver training to maximize learning opportunities outside of structured ABA Therapy sessions.

Do You Suspect Your Child Might Have Autism?
We're Here to Help.

If you’ve noticed differences in how your child communicates, interacts, or plays, getting clarity early can make all the difference. At Cultivate, we help families take those first important steps by offering trusted autism screenings, such as the M-CHAT-R (for toddlers) and the CAST (for older children).

These screenings can provide valuable insight and help determine whether pursuing a formal diagnostic evaluation is the next step. Our team can help directly connect you to our diagnostic partners to ensure families have clear pathways to the support they need.

frequently asked questions

At our Frisco, TX location, Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education provides comprehensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental conditions.

Our Frisco ABA services include formal clinical assessments, individualized treatment plans, one-on-one therapy sessions, behavior reduction programs, functional communication training, and structured parent coaching. Each child’s program is developed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and designed to support communication development, social skills, adaptive living skills, and emotional regulation.

Our goal is to deliver evidence-based autism services that create meaningful, long-term progress both inside our clinic and throughout the Frisco community.

What sets our Frisco ABA program apart is our emphasis on relationship-building and family-centered care. We take the time to understand what matters most to each family and build individualized treatment goals around both assessment results and family priorities.

Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, we design therapy around each child’s strengths, developmental profile, and long-term goals. Our team prioritizes open communication, transparency, and collaboration so families feel informed and supported at every stage of treatment.

In a growing community like Frisco, we focus on delivering high-quality, personalized ABA therapy that promotes independence and confidence.

ABA therapy frequency is determined after a comprehensive clinical assessment conducted by a BCBA. Because every child’s skill level and behavioral needs are different, we do not recommend a set number of hours without evaluation.

Our clinic operates Monday through Friday and occassionally on Saturdays, and therapy intensity may range from focused services to comprehensive programming depending on your child’s developmental needs. The recommended schedule is designed to provide consistent skill-building opportunities while fitting into your family’s routine.

Yes. Parent training is an integral component of our Frisco ABA therapy program. We believe progress is strongest when families understand and can confidently apply the same strategies used in therapy.

Caregiver training sessions may take place in the clinic, at home, or within community settings depending on your child’s treatment plan. These sessions focus on generalizing communication skills, managing challenging behaviors, and reinforcing adaptive skills outside of therapy hours.

If you suspect your child may be on the autism spectrum or are noticing concerns with communication, social interaction, repetitive behaviors, aggression, or developmental delays, the first step is to speak with your pediatrician.

Your pediatrician may refer you to a developmental pediatrician, child psychologist, neurologist, or other specialist for a comprehensive autism evaluation. Once a diagnosis is confirmed, our Frisco team can determine whether ABA therapy would be beneficial for your child’s specific needs.

There is no “one-size-fits-all” ABA therapy session in Frisco. Each session is structured around the child’s individualized treatment plan.

Sessions may include rapport-building, structured teaching time, natural environment learning through play, social interaction opportunities, and targeted behavior reduction programming. Our therapists incorporate motivation, reinforcement, and engaging activities to make learning effective and enjoyable.

Because every child’s goals are unique, session structure adapts to meet their developmental stage and learning style.

ABA therapy is highly data-driven. During sessions, therapists collect real-time data on skill acquisition and behavior reduction using iPads and a secure digital data collection system.

BCBAs monitor progress in real time and analyze trends through graphed reports. This allows us to make timely adjustments to programming when necessary and ensure therapy remains effective and individualized.

Families receive regular updates so they can clearly see progress over time.

Yes. We work with children across all communication levels, including nonverbal learners. Our team supports children who use alternative communication systems such as AAC devices, picture exchange systems, gestures, or sign language.

We also collaborate with speech therapists to ensure communication goals are aligned and integrated into ABA therapy sessions without interrupting scheduled services.

Yes, parent involvement is encouraged through structured caregiver training sessions. While daily one-on-one therapy sessions are conducted directly between your child and their therapist to promote independence, parents participate during scheduled training meetings.

These sessions may occur in the clinic, at home, or in community settings to help parents observe strategies and practice implementing them. Collaboration between caregivers and clinicians is key to long-term success.

Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education does not provide formal autism diagnoses in Austin. However, we offer free developmental screening tools such as the M-CHAT (for toddlers) and CAST (for school-aged children) to help families determine whether a comprehensive evaluation may be needed.

If a formal diagnosis is required, we can connect you with trusted diagnostician partners who provide virtual autism evaluations, helping families avoid long waitlists and travel. Once a diagnosis is confirmed, we can begin developing an individualized ABA therapy program tailored to your child’s needs.
