Often times with special needs kids you have to make tough decisions and find the right fit for therapy. Choosing Cultivate was a huge win for us. The Clinical Managers are amazing and educated and very involved in their company. They have a direct hand in what the therapists are implementing at home and in their centers. They have responded quickly and professionally to all our needs and requests. Our therapists are wonderful, and our boys love them. A lot of things in my life are stressful regarding my kid's needs but this is definitely not one of them.

Five stars is not even enough to rate them. My son has been going there since he was 2. He started out nonverbal, limited eye contact, limited social skills and missed a lot of his milestones. Fast forward 4 years later and he is a social butterfly, won’t stop talking and surpasses everything that is asked of him. I know we would not be where we are today without the help of the Cultivate team! We love them!
.
The Cultivate team has gone above and beyond the call of duty. My son has improved so much. He is happier and all around better in his behavior. I 100% recommend this place and can say with certainty that Cultivate has the best interest for your child's ABA treatment. They truly work hard.

ABOUT ABA THERAPY

Understanding ABA Therapy for Children in San Antonio

What Is ABA therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is an evidence-based approach that helps children with autism learn vital skills, including communication, socialization, and adaptive behaviors. Backed by scientific research, ABA therapy is recognized as one of the most effective treatments for autism spectrum disorder (ASD), making it a valuable resource for early intervention and long-term progress.

The Goals of ABA Therapy

ABA therapy is personalized to reduce challenging behaviors while encouraging positive skills that support independence and confidence. By focusing on each child’s unique needs, ABA therapy helps improve behaviors like communication, cooperation, and self-help skills

ABA therapy uses the ABC model—Antecedent, Behavior, and Consequence—to analyze why a behavior happens and how it can be adjusted. For instance, if a child engages in a behavior to gain attention, therapists might use positive reinforcement to encourage more appropriate ways of seeking attention.

“Chaining” is another method in ABA therapy, breaking down complex tasks into smaller, achievable steps to build independence. Additionally, positive reinforcement helps children learn and repeat desired behaviors, creating a solid foundation for continued progress.

Our ABA clinicians focus on:

  • Assessing behavior patterns and motivations
  • Supporting school-based goals and IEP objectives
  • Implementing strategies to address challenging behaviors
  • Collaborating with families to maximize the benefits of therapy

Our ABA therapy approach in San Antonio is uniquely designed for each child, creating a supportive and effective experience for both children and their families.

The Lasting Benefits of ABA Therapy for Autism

ABA therapy has shown significant results for children with autism, especially when started early. Research indicates that ABA can help reduce symptoms, improve life skills, and foster independence. Through consistent, evidence-based interventions, children who participate in ABA therapy can make remarkable strides in their development.

If you believe ABA therapy could be beneficial for your child, we encourage you to reach out. Our team in San Antonio is here to provide the support and information you need to make an informed decision about autism therapy services.
