Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education Joins Waisman Center’s 33rd Annual Golf Benefit to Support Individuals with Disabilities

(August 5, 2025 ) – Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education proudly participated and sponsored a hole at the Friends of the Waisman Center 33rd Annual Golf Benefit on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Maple Bluff Country Club, joining community partners and supporters to raise more than $48,000 for critical research, services, outreach, and training efforts that benefit individuals with disabilities and their families.

The Waisman Center, part of the UW Health system, is one of Wisconsin’s leading resources for families and individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. The Waisman Center offers diagnostic evaluations, ongoing services, and research that advances understanding in developmental disabilities, human development, and neurodegenerative diseases.

Representing Cultivate at the event were Katelyn Wurtz, M.A., BCBA (Clinical Manager, East Madison ABA Center), along with a BCBA from each of Cultivate’s Wisconsin clinics – Jack Cioci (West Madison ABA Center), Kayleigh Brown (Verona ABA Center), and Sydnee Gentile (East Madison ABA Center).

“Partnering with the Waisman Center is deeply meaningful to us,” said Veronica Umaña, Director of Marketing & Communications at Cultivate. “Their work directly impacts the families we serve, and this event was a wonderful way to come together as a community to support their mission.”

The day-long benefit brought together supporters from across the region to enjoy golf, networking, and shared commitment to advancing resources for individuals with disabilities. Funds raised will directly support the Waisman Center’s research, services, outreach, and training programs.
