(August 11, 2025) – Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education (Cultivate BHE) was proud to participate in the City of Tamarac’s Back-to-School Special Needs and Community Resource Fair on Saturday, August 9, at the Tamarac Community Center. The event brought together families, educators, and local organizations to provide valuable resources and support ahead of the new school year.
During the fair, Cultivate team members from the Sunrise, FL ABA center met with parents and caregivers to share information about the benefits of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, answer questions, and connect families with helpful community resources.
“Our goal is to not only provide high-quality ABA therapy, but also to be a trusted partner to families navigating the journey after a diagnosis,” said Veronica Umaña, Director of Marketing & Communications at Cultivate. “Events like this give us the opportunity to meet parents face-to-face, understand their needs, and share how early intervention can make a lasting difference.”
The fair, hosted by the City of Tamarac, featured giveaways, local vendors, and a variety of educational, therapeutic, and social services, with the first 200 attendees receiving free backpacks filled with school supplies. Highlights included the “Rip the Hallways” back-to-school fashion show, celebrating individuality and building excitement for the school year.
Cultivate’s participation reflects the organization’s commitment to supporting the local community and partnering with families to provide personalized, evidence-based care.
