How Long Does ABA Therapy Take?
The ABA Therapy Timeline: Understanding Milestones & Progress When we start working with new families,
In Yulee, FL we provide specialized in-home ABA therapy services designed to support children with autism and their families, all in the familiar and comfortable environment of their home. Our team of dedicated therapists understand that every child is unique, so we put a strong emphasis on personalized care, targeting specific developmental goals like behavior management, communication skills, and social interactions. We proudly serve not only Yulee but also the surrounding areas such as Nassau County, Fernandina Beach, and the Wildlight Community.
By working closely with parents and caregivers, we can go a long way in making sure our services effectively address every child’s particular needs. Together, we cultivate a nurturing environment that promotes growth and independence.
Allison Radomski is an accomplished Clinical Manager at our Yulee, FL location, bringing a wealth of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). With a strong background in leading multidisciplinary teams and implementing evidence-based interventions, she plays a pivotal role in fostering a supportive and effective environment at Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education. Originally from Ohio, she has lived in Florida for over seven years and enjoys exploring NE Florida’s beautiful nature trails, trying new foods, and traveling wherever she can hike.
Our ABA clinic provides a structured and nurturing environment for children to develop essential developmental and age-appropriate skills. Through a combination of play–based and adult–directed activities, children learn communication, daily living, pre-academic, and social readiness. Our experienced team facilitates these sessions, helping your child build independence and confidence in a setting that mirrors real-world scenarios. Clinic–based service models include regular parent and caregiver training to maximize learning opportunities outside of structured ABA Therapy sessions.
In-home ABA therapy services target socially significant skills within the home environment. This approach targets communication, daily routines, and addresses specific challenges like communication, activities of daily living, and behavior management within a familiar home environment. Our team works closely with families to create personalized interventions, so we enhance engagement and foster independence within the home setting. Home–based service models include regular parent and caregiver training to maximize learning opportunities outside of structured ABA Therapy sessions.
Our In-school ABA therapy services provide vital support within both public and private school settings. In addition to providing direct services to your child, our team works closely with teachers and school staff to develop strategies that help with skill development and promote positive peer interactions. By integrating ABA principles into the school day, we enhance students’ learning experiences and support their success. When appropriate, in-school service delivery models include regular parent and caregiver training to maximize learning opportunities outside of structured ABA Therapy sessions.
If you’ve noticed differences in how your child communicates, interacts, or plays, getting clarity early can make all the difference. At Cultivate, we help families take those first important steps by offering trusted autism screenings, such as the M-CHAT-R (for toddlers) and the CAST (for older children).
These screenings can provide valuable insight and help determine whether pursuing a formal diagnostic evaluation is the next step. Our team can help directly connect you to our diagnostic partners to ensure families have clear pathways to the support they need.
We love it here. My kiddo adores all the staff and is learning so much. Thank you to everyone involved for making it happen to where we no longer have communication barriers for our little man.
Cultivate has been a game changer for our little family. My child has grown SO much, cultivated so many relationships outside of our family, and all around has just gained so much confidence and maturity.
Cultivate and the staff are angels and magic workers. Our girls benefitted greatly from every day of their services here.

At Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education, our therapy team is made up of highly trained professionals who meet rigorous national standards.
This structure allows Cultivate to maintain a high standard of care, ensuring every child receives compassionate, data-driven, and professional support.
Yes! At Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education, parents play such an important role in their child’s ABA therapy. We love for parents to be involved in the ABA for their child. We recommend a minimum of 1 contact of caregiver guidance a month but often work with families wanting up up to 4 times a month. Our goal is each of our clients can generalize their skills to any person, any environment and maintain those new skills over time.
While most sessions are led by a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), we actively include parents through regular parent training and collaboration.
During these parent/caregiver meetings, you’ll learn practical strategies, review your child’s progress, and receive coaching on how to support new skills at home and in the community. This consistent teamwork helps children generalize what they learn in therapy to real-life situations and ensures everyone is working toward the same goals.
At Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education, ABA therapy sessions are designed to be fun, engaging, and full of meaningful learning. Our sessions often look a lot like play—with games, activities, and natural interactions woven into every moment to help children stay motivated and connected.
Once a child is ready, they may also participate in more structured teaching at a table to focus on specific goals such as communication, social skills, or daily routines. Throughout the session, children rotate between rooms and activities, giving them opportunities to practice skills in different settings and engage in social play with peers.
Every activity is guided by a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to ensure therapy remains individualized, evidence-based, and effective.
Lots and lots of data! At Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education, we use data-driven methods to track every child’s progress and collect data on all of the areas we are teaching, every day. During each ABA session, our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) collect data on all the skills and goals being taught—from communication and social interaction to daily living tasks.
Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) review this data frequently to monitor growth, identify trends, and make adjustments to the treatment plan when needed. This approach allows us to celebrate quick wins, keep momentum going, and catch any barriers early so we can modify interventions for continued success.
In short, we track progress every day to make sure therapy stays effective, personalized, and focused on helping your child thrive.

Our goal is to help every child find their voice in whatever form it takes. By building individualized communication plans, we empower children to express their needs, connect with others, and gain confidence in everyday life.
